IwiData is a transparency and accountability platform that aggregates publicly available information about iwi organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand. Our data is sourced from iwi annual reports, Charities Services filings, the Companies Office, and other public records.
The platform tracks 108 post-settlement governance entities (PSGEs) and related organisations, covering governance structures, financial performance, subsidiary networks, community distributions, and sustainability initiatives.
IwiData is part of the Pangaea transparency ecosystem, which also includes NZXplorer (NZX-listed companies), CharityData (registered charities), and PublicData (public sector). Cross-platform linking enables tracking of individuals who serve across multiple sectors.
